For thousands of years, Sri Lanka was the central point for the trade between the Mediterranean and Arab worlds on the one hand, and China and South East Asia on the other.

Settled by Tamils from the South of India, Bengalis from the Gangetic plain of North Eastern India, from its earliest recorded history its cuisine has been a fascinating mix of influences from these wide ranging sources.

Subsequent colonisation by the Portuguese, Dutch and British led to further fusions in flavour, ingredients and techniques.

Buth Kuddeh Catering specialises in small scale catering for events of up to 30 people. Parties, BBQs, cocktail evenings, picnics, workshops, anything where having good nourishing food helps make the event memorable. I like to think of what we do as Gama Bojuns, village feasts - well, maybe hamlet feasts.

Ordering is an easy three step process:
